The longing for country life inspires our creativity in a special way. This book contains a variety of handmade ideas that bring the winter and Christmas season closer to us in a natural way. Sewing projects, cross-stitch motifs, handicrafts and recipes are embedded and photographed in the original country life on the farm. Silke Schneider-Windt designed the creative projects, photographed them on her farm and the result is a wonderful inspiration from craftsmanship and love of the land. Daniela Drescher and her daughter Sophia Drescher create the basis for all textile designs in the book with loving illustrations, which can be found on the book pages as well as on fabrics and ribbons.
